An overly married taxi driver16+
Theatricals 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission
As it should be in a real farce, it all starts with an annoying misunderstanding. A taxi
driver with an "ordinary" name, John Smith, unexpectedly rushed to save
an old woman from bullies. A perky old lady hit her rescuer
on the head with her purse, and, unable to recover from the shock, John calls two different home
addresses in the hospital.…
The fact is that taxi driver John Smith, the spring and victim of a farcical intrigue, is a bigamist.
He registered his marriage with Mary at the mayor's office, and got married with Barbara at the church.
He comes to one after the night shift, to the other after the day shift. When a tight marital
schedule fails, the poor bigamist has to spin like a squirrel in a wheel to
hide his crime from both women and, in addition, from two police inspectors who
suddenly became interested in his modest persona. The dodgy lies of an overly
married taxi driver, the dizzying change of situations reach the point of absurdity and give rise
to many incredibly funny and ridiculous situations.
