MATVEEV VLADIMIR

Born on January 26, 1952 in the village of Sladkovo, Maslyansky District, Tyumen Region.
School years passed in the city of Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region.

In 1974 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (course of I.P. Vladimir Vladimirov).

In 1974, after graduation, he was accepted into the troupe of the Lensovet Theater.
In the 80s, he worked for several seasons in the Krasnoyarsk Youth Theater and the Young Theater of the Lenconcert (artistic director S.Ya. Spivak).
Since 1989 - actor of the Lensovet Theater.

People's Artist of Russia (2008).
PRIZES AND AWARDS
For performing the role of Karenin in the play "Karenin. Anna. Vronsky" he was awarded the highest St. Petersburg theater prize "Golden Spotlights" (2001), the Tsarskoye Selo Art Prize and the Audience Award of the St. Petersburg society "Theater".
