This is a kind, intelligent and fascinating story of the adventures of the boy Tiltil and the girl Mytil, who, together with the fairy Berylune, go in search of a blue bird – a symbol of happiness and beauty. Children discover a wonderful world around them full of beauty and spirituality and requiring courage and kindness from a person.
"You have to be brave to see the hidden," Berilyuna says and gives Tiltil a green cap with a diamond, turning which a person can see the Soul of Things, Animals and Elements.
