Chindyaykin Nikolay

Born March 8, 1947.

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1985). People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2013).

At the end of the Theater School in Rostov-on-Don in 1968, an actor and director in the theaters of Rostov-on-Don and Omsk.

After graduating from the directing department of GITIS (course of M. M. Butkevich and A. A. Vasiliev) in 1987 - actor, director, teacher at the Moscow Theater "School of Dramatic Art".

He supervised the work of the Russian group in the joint project of the School of Dramatic Art and the Grotovsky Work Center “Slavic Pilgrims” (1991).

Passed a series of trainings led by E. Grotovsky (1991, Pontedera, Italy).

Since 1993 he has been teaching at the RATI, conducting an acting and directing course at the Vasiliev workshop.

Since 2008 - actor of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.

Among the productions: “A Man for All Times” by R. Bolt (1986), “Do not Play with the Archangels” by D. Fo (1987).
