Tikhonov Alexey
Born on November 1, 1971 in Samara.
Russian skater, Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
He performed in pair skating with Maria Petrova, with whom they are world champions (2000), two-time European champions (1999, 2000), Russian champions (2006). In 2007, the couple completed an amateur sports career.
In addition, paired with Irina Sayfutdinova, representing the USSR, Alexei Tikhonov was a bronze medalist in the 1989 World Junior Championships. From 1992 to 1994 he played for Japan with Yukiko Kawasaki and is a two-time champion of Japan.
Alexey Tikhonov participated in the projects of Channel One: “Stars on Ice” paired with actress Anna Bolshova (third place), “Ice Age” paired with actress Alisa Grebenshchikova (third place) and “Ice Age-2” paired with actress Ekaterina Strizhenova and in the third season of the show with actress Alyona Babenko (third place).
