Father, Nikolai Karlovich Grabbe - a famous Soviet film actor. Mother, Margarita Alexandrovna Doktorova - theater actress.

In 1971 he graduated from the theater school. Schukin (University), the course of Yu. V. Katina-Yartseva and was accepted into the troupe of the Taganka Theater.

Participated in almost all theater performances.

He is currently a leading theater actor.
