Vampilov "snatches" a day from the life of the characters, the past of the characters is given only by a hint,
but without that past, what happened would not have happened!
The play takes place in the course of one day, but.. how many events are funny and tragic,
how many characters experiencing these events pass before the audience in these short days.
Where the main thing is love in all its manifestations.
Times change - people don't!
The tragedy of love in the 70s is still relevant today.
The play was written in 1971 and was the last work of the playwright.
