Mother - actress Nina Urgant (born 1929), People's Artist of the RSFSR, father - actor Lev Milinder (1930-2005), Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

In 1977 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (course of R.S. Agamirzyan).
